My name is Kelsey Di Iuorio, and I am a queer business owner who has called the Okanagan home for the past 25 years.

I have always known I wanted to do hair, so once I graduated from Blanche Macdonald in 2014, I hit the ground running and got right to work.

​

I have collaborated with many professional photographers, other stylists, and have worked in a few other local salons. With my experience, I found that I have always had a different philosophy when it comes to hair, which is why I founded Dye Candy, a place to be creative and daring with colour.

​

My approach is to get to know all of my clients personally, and to always create a safe space for everyone to be their true authentic selves. Everyone should feel beautiful before they sit in my chair, no matter who they are or where they are from. 

​

It is my dream to grow Dye Candy with this vision in mind, and to spread this message along the way.
